EOTC week at the pool

It was a new day and we had just got back from Waimarie Hospital. My mum came on the trip, she was very helpful. When we were in our groups we hopped on the bus to go to Onehunga Pools. I sat next to Sivan. We played a game while we were waiting to get there, we played how long can you hold your breath.

When we got to the pool it was time for lunch. Sivan and I hunted for feathers. We found loads. It was really fun climbing on the playground. I got to chase after Sophie and it was awesome. When everyone was finished eating it was time to go SWIMMING!!!!!!!! First each group ( our single groups) got into threes.

Firstly my group went to water safety. We learnt how to get into the water safely and how to swim in deep water. Then we went out-side  and did life jackets. We learnt how to try and get help. It was so much fun. After that we did beach safety and that was my favourite, we got to make a whirlpool and we learnt how to get out of it. It was hard, I got pulled back nearly every time except for once. At the end of that we got to go on the water slide,we got a high five ( I LOVE IT )!!!!

After that we all gathered up at the front. It was time to go off and have FREE TIME!!!!. I played with Eve and Olivia C. We went on the giant slide but it was not to big. It was awesome because there was water coming from the sides it was really slippery and slide. After that Olivia C went to play with someone else so Eve and I played a mermaid game (I don't really won't to explan,I get really embarrassed).

Next we got told to get changed. It was really strange because there was a door into the boy's changing room!!!!!. Then we got on the bus. I sat next to my mum. I was really, really, really tired!!!!. When we got back to school my mum took me home and I got to watch tv, (X factor).

                          THE END!!!!!
